Franco Cogoli

I'm Franco Cogoli,
I am a travel photographer based in Italy in the Veneto region; I started as professional photographer in 2000, having worked for several regional editions and a guide to cycling in Veneto region; then, after a three months experience in Alaska, I published my first reportage with Weekend Viaggi magazine; then I worked in assignment for some italian travel magazines like Bell'Italia, Bell'Europa, InViaggio, Meridiani, Traveller and Tuttoturismo, with many reportages and covers published.

I currently produce, together with the journalist Auretta Monesi, a food and wine column for the monthly magazine Bell'Italia.

In 2005 I started working with the photoagency Simephoto, which represent part of my work throughout the world. With Sime Editions I have collaborated on two books on the Veneto region: "From Prosecco to Raboso" on some of the best wineries of Treviso province and "Treviso 101 - 101 Ways to discover Treviso" . Also produces reportages for Solomango.

I made a lot of reportages in Croatia and I was awarded by the Croatian Tourist Board with the "Zlatna Penkala" (Golden Pen) in 2008.

I have a special interest on my country, the Veneto region, winning an award for the best reportage on the Veneto palladian villas, rewarded by the Istituto Regionale Ville Venete, and published on the monthly magazine ItinerariTravel;

I'm also work for some tourist boards of the Veneto region, with an important assignment in 2008 by the Regione Veneto on seven beach resorts and then some works commissioned by the Cavallino Treporti Tourist Office and the Asiago7comuni Tourist Office
